If we enter into an employment contract with an applicant, the data provided will be stored for the purpose of administering the employment relationship in compliance with the applicable statutory requirements.

The legal basis is Section 26(1), where applicable in conjunction with Section 26(8), second sentence, of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

If we are unable to offer you a position following completion of the recruitment process, your application documents will be deleted two months after you have been notified of the rejection decision, unless another legitimate interest prevents deletion.

Another legitimate interest in this context may include the need to retain evidence in proceedings under the German General Equal Treatment Act. The legal basis in this case is Article 6(1), point (f) GDPR.

Where you have consented in writing or electronically to the continued storage of your data, we may continue to process and use your data after completion of the recruitment process.
